Nikon EN – EL15A Battery

• The EN-EL15a is a rechargeable Li-ion battery that powers select Nikon DSLR cameras.
• These rechargeable batteries provide extended life and consistent power, even in colder conditions.
• The battery uses the MH-25a battery charger.

The EN-EL15a works with a wide range of Nikon cameras, including:

DSLR cameras

• D600 / D610
• D7000 / D7100 / D7200
• D750 / D780
• D800 / D800E / D810 / D810A / D850
• D500

Mirrorless cameras

• Z5 / Z6 / Z6II / Z7 / Z7II (and similar Z-series using EN-EL15 f

• N-EL15 Family (important)

  All EN-EL15 versions look similar but have differences:

  • EN-EL15 → original version
  • EN-EL15a → improved durability & performance stability
  • EN-EL15b → adds in-camera USB charging support (on compatible cameras)
  • EN-EL15c → latest version with higher efficiency & USB-C power support

  Physically they fit the same, but camera compatibility and charging features differ
