Canon – EOS R5 Mark II

Accelerated Capture System

Introducing the latest DIGIC Accelerator that is paired with the DIGIC X image processor to instantly process huge amount of data from the new full-frame back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor. Enjoy high-speed shooting of stellar quality images with less noise even at ISO 51,200.

The faster readout speed produces images with reduced rolling shutter distortion. Simultaneous capture of video recording and high-speed still photos is made possible through this innovation.

Deep Learning Technology

The EOS R5 Mark II adopts Deep Learning that uses complex neural network and analysis algorithm. Together with the Accelerated Capture System, the EOS R5 Mark II achieves groundbreaking improvements in areas such as AF recognition & speed, noise reduction, in-camera upscaling and accuracy in auto exposure and white balance.

8K 60p RAW

The high-resolution 8K footage shot at 60 fps allows for cropping, angle correction, non-linear editing and video play back speed adjustments before exporting to 4K or Full HD.

The 12-bit data provides you with more freedom for colour grading during post-processing.

4K 60p SRAW

The newly introduced SRAW format retains all the depth and detail of 12-bit RAW in about half the file size.

Perfect for when you do not need 8K RAW and yet require the freedom in colour grading and post processing.

4K 120p / 2K 240p / FHD 240p

You can slow down the video up to 10 times to create beautiful slow-motion videos with amazing depth and details.
Audio is also recorded in these high frame-rate shooting.

Canon Log 2 & 3

Canon Log 2 offers film-like characteristics, preserving details in medium to dark areas, and enables better exposure control with minimal colour changes.

Canon Log 3 is easy to handle in colour grading and generates less noise in dark areas while maintaining a wide dynamic range.

Both are compatible with Cinema-Log production settings, ideal for film production.

Proxy Recording

Further streamline your workflow with simultaneous proxy recording. Record smaller-sized proxy footage concurrently alongside the high-quality RAW footage. The proxy footage allows for faster file transfers and reduces time for offline editing, before applying the edits to the original footage.

Look files can also be applied to the proxy footage for preview then adjusted without modifying the original file.

Dual Shooting

Capture the best of both worlds simultaneously with the EOS R5 Mark II. This camera simplifies the process and reduces manpower with dual shooting — record video in Full HD 30p while capturing 33.2MP photos* and you can even shoot continuously at up to 7.5 fps.

Perfect for situations where things only happens once, ensuring you get two high quality outputs at the same time.

*Photos are in 16:9 ratio JPEGs.

Custom Picture

Colour presets built right into EOS R5 Mark II

Unlock your creative potential and streamline your workflow with seamless Cinema EOS integration, featuring Canon Log 2. Choose HDR and BT.709 settings straight from the camera—no colour grading needed. Customise various settings to perfectly match your imaging needs.

LPCM / 24-bit / 4-Ch Audio

Record in 24-bit sound quality with support for 4-channel audio input.

The new audio input feature allows you to combine external, built-in, and other microphones for various situations like interviews, ambient sound recording, live sessions with separate microphones for instruments and vocals, and voice memos from the camera operator.

Burst Speeds

The EOS R5 Mark II can shoot up to 30 frames per second in electronic shutter.
Together with blackout-free shooting and silent shutter, it is perfect for photographing wildlife, wedding, sports and those once-in-a-lifetime moments.

In-camera Upscaling

With the EOS R5 Mark II’s In-camera Upscaling feature, you can effortlessly transform your 45-megapixel JPEG or HEIF files into stunning 179-megapixel images.

With deep learning technology, the upscaled image produces more details compared to simply interpolating from regular software. This means you can crop closer and capture incredible detail.

Neural Network Noise Reduction

The EOS R5 Mark II’s Neural Network Noise Reduction uses deep learning to reduce noise during in-camera RAW conversion to HEIF/JPEG.

Get clear images even in low light or with faster shutter speeds without having to worry about noise.

Low-Light Focusing

The EOS R5 Mark II features impressive low-light focusing capabilities, allowing it to achieve focus even in extremely dim conditions, down to EV-6.5. Great for for various scenarios, such as night photography and indoor shooting under minimal light.
